Oprah is a self-aggrandizing piece of shit
People are obsessed with this woman. "OMG SHE WAS LIKE ABUSED AND ADMITTED IT!" "OMG SHE LIKE LOST SO MUCH WEIGHT!" "OMG OPRAH IS SOOOO GENEROUS!" Now I very much respect her ability to handle those first two subjects, but shit... I hear the word "generous" tossed around a lot with regard to Oprah. Allow me to enlighten you as to the definition of "generous":

Ok, so maybe she is liberal in her giving. But unselfish?
UNSELFISH?
Anyone who thinks that Oprah fuckin' Winfrey is unselfish needs to have their goddamned head examined.
She is listed as the richest African American ever, and she gives a LOT of money to noble sources. That's pretty sweet. But here's my big problem with it all:
- Oprah's Book Club
- Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls
- Oprah's Angel Network
- Oprah's Christmas Kindness
- Oprah's Big Give
.... see any pattern?...
It is my personal opinion that if she was really the selfless philanthropist she claims to be, these organizations/events would be titled as follows:
- Oprah's Book Club (I'll give her that one, although I'd prefer something like "Bitchin' Books")
- The Johannesburg Leadership Academy for Girls
- The Angel Network
- The Christmas Kindness
- The Big Give
A true philanthropist should give without need for recognition or laud. Real philanthropists are the ones you see in the back of programmes for plays or concerts as the donors that give $10,000,000 under the name "Anonymous."
We know who you are, Oprah, and we'd know about the great fantabulous things you do without you having to canvas your name all over the fucking globe. If you had been willing to do all this work without rubbing our noses in your name and reputation every ten seconds, you could be up there with Mother Teresa and Ghandi. Instead you insist on broadcasting your deeds to the world, making sure that every man, woman, child, tree, and sandwich knows that you are OPRAH WINFREY. And that, my dear, will always make you just a petty talk show host with more money than you know what to do with.
